Q. How do The Knit Lites work?
A. Our patented design uses glowing LED tips powered by three small watch batteries in each needle. Just slide the simple on/off switch on the end of the needles and light up your knitting experience!
Q. I am a beginner... Which set of needles should I start with?
A. Size #10 is the most common sized needle for many projects. We recommend you have 3 sets of needles: Sizes #8, #10, and #13. These needles will work with thick to thin yarns for almost all of your favorite projects. The bigger the needle, the bigger the stitch!
Q. Why would I need the complete set of all 9 Knit Lite sizes?
A. Knitters knit with many different yarn thicknesses. Different sized needles are used to accommodate a variety of yarns and projects.
Q. What kind of projects do I need the short Knit Lite needles for?
A. The short Knit Lites can be used for smaller projects such as scarves, baby clothes, and any items that do not require very many stitches.
Q. Where would I use short needles?
A. Confined areas like airplane seats, in automobiles, chairs, sitting next to someone, etc

Q. Can I order a combination of short AND long Knit Lites?
A. Yes. All combinations of Knit Lite needles are available. Mix and match lengths and sizes to fit your knitting needs!
Q. I am a beginner... what Crochet Lite size do I need?
A. Size H is the most common crochet hook. We also recommend a set of 3: Sizes D, H, & K. These hooks will work with thin to thick yarns for almost all of your favorite projects.
Q. How long will my Knit Lite or Crochet Lite batteries last?
A. The batteries last for approximately 40 hours of continuous use. However, when not in use the batteries will regenerate and last even longer.
Q. What type of batteries do the Knit Lites and Crochet Lites take? Can I get them anywhere?
A. The batteries are standard watch batteries and you can get them anywhere, however if you've ever replaced a watch battery you know that they can cost upwards to $10.00. We conveniently offer a pack of three batteries for only $2.49 or a pack of six for $4.49.
